A Harlan Co Man Has Filed A Lawsuit Against Two KY State Troopers

The troopers arrested Richard Green in Pathfork on January 23rd. The arrest citation says Green was charged with menacing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

In the lawsuit, Green claims Troopers did not let him put on clothes before the arrest, and then he had to walk outside in freezing temperatures where people he did not know could see him in his underwear.

The lawsuit claims Green "was required to walk in the parking lot of Post 10 on two separate occasions in freezing temperatures in broad daylight hours in open view of the general public while handcuffed and still wearing only underwear shorts without socks on his bare feet."

State police have not been served with the lawsuit yet but are generally not allowed to comment on pending litigation.

The lawsuit requests punitive damages and a trial by jury.
