A woman has asked for more secure centers for custody exchanges

A woman in Perry county is calling for more secure centers for custody exchanges.

In January three of Missy Cornetts family members were shot and killed when police say Dalton Stidham gunned them down during what  was supposed to be aa custodial exchange.

It happened in the parking lot of Hazard Comminuity & Technical College.

WYMT is reporting that Missy Cornett says she believe if more protection was offered her family members would be alive today.

Stidham has pleaded not guily in the case.
