A Floyd County teen has been crowned 2013 Road to Fame winner

Ten contestants came together on Saturday evening at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg for the finals of the "Road to Fame" competition. Each contestant performed two songs in front of the judges. Nineteen year old Holly Thompson of Wayland was named this year's winner. By winning the competition, Thompson won a recording session at the Mountain Arts Center, 2,500 in prize money and consulting services with Bernard Porter with PCG Nashville. Jordan Morgan and Kori Breeding finished in a tie for second place. Shelly Young and Haley Sullivan also finished in a tie for third place.
