Robbery in Floyd County Leaves Police Asking for Help

The Kentucky State Police are asking for any help as they investigate a robbery in Floyd County.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 9,Tuesday, an armed robber entered the Subway restaurant in Stanville demanding for money.

An employee gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the scene.

An initial investigation indicates that the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a gray mask covering his face.

No one was hurt.

The case is still under investigation and is being handled by Detective William Petry.
