FARMERS MARKET
The Lawrence County Farmer's Market will have an early sale, Wednesday, July 3rd, from 9a.m.-noon at the Pavilion by the Lawrence County Extension office, 249 Industrial Park Road, Louisa. The market will officially open on July 12. For information, call 606-673-9495.
SPORTS PHYSICALS
Lawrence County Sports Physicals will be Thursday, July 24th, from 5-7 p.m. These will be done at no cost. Student athletes need to pick up the form at the Board of Education office, Lawrence County High School or download from the District Web at www.lawrence.k12.ky.us. Parts I, II, IV, and V of the form must be filled out and signed by a parent prior to the exam.
DIPLOMAS FOR VETERANS
The Lawrence County Adult Learning Center in Louisa is now helping veterans receive their high school diploma if they served during World War II, Korean War or Vietnam. MORGAN COUNTY WEST LIBERTY KIWANIS CLUB CHARITY HORSE SHOW
The west liberty kiwanis club charity horse show is scheduled for saturday, June 28th at the Morgan County Equestrian Park on Liberty Road in West Liberty. The show will start at 6pm with 34 classes for walking, racking, spotted and pleasure horses. A negitave coggins test is required for all horses. The Appalachian Riders will host a bike show for Hunter Tyler Whitaker, Saturday, June 28th at Hazard High School. There will be games, prizes, food, and music. ALZHEIMERS SUPPORT GROUP
The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center along with the Alzheimer's Association is having the Bringing Back The Memories: Alzheimer's Support Group Meeting at Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1pm.
