Haley Williamson

Pikeville High School

April 7, 2014

This week's student achiever is from Pikeville High School. Haley Williamson is a Freshman at Pikeville. She earned a state champion honor as a Future City Presenter. Haley was also in the top ten of her 7th and 8th grade class. She is a reading award recipient and a new member of FBLA. Her hobbies and interests include : Drawing houses, creative writing and music. Her future plans are to study to become an architect and to attend the University of Kentucky. Congratulations to this weeks student achiever Haley Williamson from Pikeville High School.

Ryan Crum

Pikeville High School

Ryan Crum is the son of Aaron and Angelia Crum. He was selected as a 2013 Rogers Explorers Scholar and was one of two Pike County Reps to attend. Ryan is a member of the PHS Golf team and also a member of of the FBLA and the PHS Student Council. His hobbies include Diving, Computers, trampoline and running his own business. His future plans are to attend the Unviersity of Kentucky and pursue a career in medicine. Congratulations to this weeks student achiever Ryan Crum of Pikeville High School.

Joslyn Deeann Isaac

South Floyd High School

March 24, 2014

This weeks student achiever is from South Floyd High School. Joslyn Deeann Isaac is the daughter of John and Denise Isaac. Her honors and awards include: Hal Rogers Explorer 2010, Hal Rogers Scholar 2012, South Floyd High School top freshman, top soph, top junior. Joslyn is a member of the Floyd County Early College Academy and was a Governors Scholar in 2013 at Murray State University. Congratulations to this weeks student achiever Joslyn Isaac from South Floyd High School.

Emily Michelle Hughes

Pikeville High School

March 17, 2014

Emily is the daughter of JD Hughes and Cindy Adkins. She is ranked 4th overall in her class and was chosen to attend a youth leadership conference in Nashville Tennessee. He extracurricular activities include: FBLA, FCA, Pep Club, High School Cross Country team and High School Softball team. She is a member of the Pikeville United Methodist Church Youth Group. Emily plans to attend college after high school and pursue a degree in speech pathology or missionary work. Congratulations to this weeks student achiever Emily Michelle Hughes from Pikeville High School.

Randi Holbrook

South Floyd High School

March 10, 2014

Randi is the daughter of Randal and Gina Holbrook. She is a senior at South Floyd High School. Her accomplishments include: AP Scholar, Distinguished in all areas, Robinson Leader, People to people student ambassador, College and Career Ready, Talented and Gifted Program and Who's Who Among American High School Students. She has a 4.0 GPA. Congratulations to this weeks Student Achiever Randi Holbrook of South Floyd High School.

Haley B. Howell

Prestonsburg High School

March 3, 2014

This weeks student achiever is from Prestonsburg High School. Haley Howell is the 18 year old daughter of Jamie Howell and Christy Howell of Prestonsburg. She is a senior at Prestonsburg High School where she is a member of the Floyd County Schools Early College Academy. Her honors include being a member of the National Honor Society. She is also a member of Who's Who Among American High School Students. Haley was named the the Big Sandy Community and Technical College Deans List and has attained a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school. She was recently selected as a WYMT Mountain Classic Scholarship winner. Her activities include PHS Softball for five years and PHS Cheerleader two years. Haley's future plans are to attend Morehead State University to pursue a bachelors degree in Nursing. Congratulations to this week's student achiever Haley Howell.

Mariah Boyd

Johnson Central High

February 24, 2014

Mariah is the daughter of David and Peggy Boyd. She has participated on both the academic and track teams at Johnson Central. She is a club officer for \"Fellowship of Christian Athletes\" Mariah was selected to participate in the prestigious Governor's Scholars Program this past summer. She aspires to be a mechanical engineer. Congratulations to Mariah Boyd, this weeks student achiever.

Bridgett Fitch

Sheldon Clark High School

February 17, 2014

Bridgett is the 17 year old daughter of Rachel and Forrest Fitch. She is currently a senior at Sheldon Clark High where she maintains a 3.95 GPA. Her honors include: being a member of the Gifted and talented program. She is ranked 9th in her class in weighted course work and 4th overall in unweighted course work. Bridgett earned a 22 composite ACT score and has participated in the lend a hand clean-up and is also a HOFSA Parliamentarian.
