Triple Crown Winner From Kentucky

Over the weekend, a KY native pulled off one of the biggest sporting achievements in the world. American Pharaoh was scheduled to be back home in the Bluegrass today after becoming the first Triple Crown winning horse in 37 years!!
After winning the Kentucky derby, followed by the Preakness, the horse did what 37 previous have failed to do! American Pharaoh won the Belmont Stakes on Saturday and won the Triple Crown.
Trainer, Bob Baffert, had the house on display for everyone at Belmont yesterday as the champion horse posed for pictures and let bystanders pet him.

American Pharaoh will have some rest now after a schedule that saw him win five Grade 1 races in the last 2 ½ months.
While the horse will run again this year according to Baffert, which races planned for the future are still yet to be determined.
Many believe the goal is the 5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic, this Halloween at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky.
