The Floyd County Farmer’s Market opened in Prestonsburg this weekend with bad weather conditions delaying the grand opening a bit. Officials have also announced they will begin accepting SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits next Saturday, July 4th. Those using SNAP benefits will also receive double dollars from the market. The Floyd County Farmer’s Market will be open each Saturday from 9AM to 2PM.
