A crash in Clay County has left one person dead after police responded to a call just after 1:00am this morning. It is reported to be a single vehicle crash in the Horse Creek area. No further information has been given at this time.

A shooting in Pike County took place last night in Phelps shortly before 6pm. While the names of both the shooter and the victim have not been released, it is said one man shot another. The shooter was taken into custody and the victim was said to be shot twice in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital to treat his injuries.
