Tomlin promises to nix “right to work” legislation

Several states across the country are adopting “right to work” legislation. The theory drops the requirement that workers have to pay unions for their representation. West Virginia’s governor, Earl Ray Tomblin, has added his name to the list of leaders who oppose the legislation. The bill passed the Republican dominated House and Senate with slight majorities. As of now Republicans have a large enough majority that they could override a veto.
