Morehead Police are cracking down on heroin dealing, according to WYMT. The Morehead Police Department assisted Cincinnati Police and the DEA with apprehending those responsible for the recent batch of deadlier heroin. 51 grams of heroin were confiscating, with an additional 10 grams seized in Morehead. Last week, Rowan County first responders and law enforcement responded to about 10 overdoses with one fatality in a 24-hour period. Narcan was administered in treating the survivors. The investigation is ongoing.
