The EPIC (Enhancing Programs for IT Certifications), a consortium of Hazard, Big Sandy, Southeast Kentucky, Jefferson, and West Kentucky Community and Technical College, will have an Employer Engagement meeting Thursday, June 8, from 10am to 2pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pikeville. Attendees will learn how this program is helping East Kentucky companies, such as ICC Global, Big Sandy Healthcare, and Highlands Regional Medical Center. There will also be panel discussions to discuss better ways for the colleges and employers to engage one another in workforce development opportunities.
