Two Arrested for Disturbance Complaint in Laurel County

Two were arrested in Laurel County on Wednesday, August 2, around 1:08am for creating a disturbance. The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of people screaming and threatening to shoot each other across from Lily Pits. When Deputy Gary Mehler arrived, he learned one of the two individuals was waving a rifle around, threatening to shoot people there. The odor of alcoholic beverages was emitting  from both suspects. Michael Trenton Philpot, 22, and Logan Neal, 24, were charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and alcohol intoxication. Philpot was additionally charged with terroristic threatening. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
