A Leslie County woman was arrested the evening of Saturday, February 9, 2019, after Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 13 executed a search warrant at her residence. Trooper Ethan Lewis obtained the search warrant after receiving information regarding drug trafficking activities at the home of Melissa Hill. Trooper Lewis located Hill at her residence on KY Highway 406 in the Stinnett community and initiated the search warrant. Multiple controlled substances, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, xanax, and suboxone were confiscated at the home along with several firearms and approximately $1149 in cash. Hill, 61, was charged with trafficking in controlled substance and lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center.
