A WORK ZONE HAS BEEN VANDALIZED-every barrel and cone run over or knocked over, even the ones along the taper leading up to the work zone on either side. Signs that couldn’t be stolen were run over.

Crews from D12 and Mountain Enterprises are on the scene replacing and re-setting the barrels and cones. New signs are on the way. But we urge you to use cautious Especially on US 23 South of Pikeville, North of Jenkins.

Keith Coleman, Signal Crew Superintendent, said in his 22 years working with signs and signals at D12 he has never seen anything this bad.
