Officials with the City of Hazard water department are warning people in and around the Leatherwood community of Perry County to be careful with water use during their Thanksgiving cooking.

A water break early this morning caused a boil water advisory for the following areas: Highway 699 from the Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation: Leatherwood Medical Clinic to Beegum Curve, along with all of highway 463.
