54-year-old Kathy Spencer was walking along KY 15 near the IGA in Happy when she was hit by a car.

Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Spencer’s body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy. Impairment is not a suspected factor in the cause of the crash, and no charges have been filed.

The crash is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police.
