James “Jim” Dotson, 77, of Ransom, KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born February 28, 1942 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Bill and Jane Smith Dotson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Willie Jake Hager Cemetery at Ransom, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home with services at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
