NBA Hall of Famer and basketball legend Kobe Bryant was reportedly killed in a helicopter crash with others in Calabasas California Sunday January 26, 2020, reported by TMZ Sports. The crash occurred Sunday morning and investigations were launched later that afternoon. Bryant’s death was confirmed before noon by ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. Gianna Bryant, 13, (Kobe Bryant’s daughter) was also aboard and killed in the helicopter crash.

The helicopter was Bryant’s personal helicopter. Emergency personnel responded when a fire was reported on board and shortly after the crash. There are no reported survivors.

Kobe Bryant, 41, was a five-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP and was a recipient of the league’s MVP award.
