Chad’s Hope celebrated Thanksgiving three months late this year due to a fire in the building.

The fire happened on Thanksgiving Day last year.

The Thanksgiving dinner celebration finally happened over the weekend, the day after Valentine’s Day.

Tommy Melton, a student at Chad’s Hope, said this Thanksgiving dinner was extra special because he got to spend it with his parents. 

Chad’s Hope will start to rebuild in the coming weeks from the fire. For now, the room has been closed for the safety of the students and staff.
