Kentucky State Police confirm a juvenile died because of a suspected animal attack in Knott County.

Troopers were called Montgomery Creek Road around 6:30 yesterday.

A minor’s body was found several hundred feet up a hillside in a wooded area. 

Right now, troopers are not able to confirm what type of animal may have attacked the child.

an autopsy is needed to be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
