Sherry Louise Thompson, age 72 of Stambaugh, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. Born July 15, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernie Ivan Thompson and Wanda Wallace Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Sunday, August 23, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky. David Burchett will officiate. Friends may visit at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00-9:00pm and prior to services on Sunday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Phelps & Son Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
