Down To The River to present “Dark Side of The Moon” at the MAC

One of the region’s most popular and experienced rock/blues
bands, Down to The River, will present “Dark Side of The River” in the Willard &
Lucy Kinzer Theater at the Mountain Arts Center (MAC) on Saturday, October 17.
This concert will be their take on Pink Floyd’s classic concept album “Dark Side Of
The Moon.”
Band leader, guitarist, and vocalist Tony Mullins describes his excitement.
“Dark Side of the Moon is legendary. It was on the charts for over a decade and is
constantly in the top ten greatest albums of all times. During one of our drives
back from a show we all talked about the possibility of doing an entire album
from one of our favorite artists. We don’t just plan on “playing” Dark Side for you,
we want you to experience all the nuances of one of the best concept albums of
all time. It’s going to be a true experience.”
Down To The River is comprised of some of the best rock and blues musicians
from the region. The band members have over 25 years experience with multiple
touring bands, as well as being credited with a long list of recording studio
projects. Down To The River’s home base in Pikeville, Ky.
“Dark Side of The River,” a true Pink Floyd Experience, presented by Down to The
River will be Saturday, October 17 at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg,
