Lexington police say an accident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15th at the intersection of New Circle Road and Woodhill Drive. When police arrived to the scene, they found one man was hit by a car. The coroner was called and the man was pronounced dead on the scene. The Critical Response Unit arrived on the scene around 2:00 a.m. to continue with the investigation. Parts of New Circle Road were shut down for the investigation, but are now back open. This investigation is on going.
