A woman out of Lexington is now facing charges after police say she attempted to intentionally start a fire at an apartment building.

33-year-old Julie Osborne allegedly set fire to a pile of trash inside of the bedroom of her apartment on Old Park Avenue this past Sunday.

The complex in question is said to contain 28 units, with 14 residents being at home when Osborne set the fire.

Osborne was charged with first-degree arson and first-degree wanton endangerment.
