A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck this past Thursday evening in Pike County.

86-year-old Arthur Looney, of Goody, was attempting to make a cross on US 119 in South Williamson, when he was hit by a Ford F-150. He is said to have died at the scene.

The Kentucky State Police, Belfry Volunteer Fire Department, and Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service all responded to the scene.
