One person is said to have died during a police chase that began in Kentucky and ended in West Virginia this past Tuesday afternoon.

 

The chase began after Kentucky State Police Troopers spotted a truck that had recently been stolen, parked at a gas station in Pike County, a little after 2:00 PM.

 

The chase ended for Kentucky State Police once the suspects crossed over the West Virginia State Line. At around 7:00 PM, one of the suspects was said to have been shot police and died at the scene.

 

The suspect was identified as 27-year-old Robert Lee Daniels, of Freeburn.

 

The case remains under investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
