A woman was recently arrested after attempting to get forged prescriptions filled at Food City pharmacy.

According to the arrest citation written by David Duncan, on December 22nd Prestonsburg 911 received a call from Food City in regards to a forged prescription.

Upon arrival, Officer Duncan was informed that they had received a second forged prescription from the same name, with a male caller advising that a female would be by to pick the prescription up.

The woman told the officer that she was from Ohio, that she works for a medical company and stated she picks up prescriptions and drops them off in the mail.
