A woman out of Pike County is now dead following a fire that broke out early Wednesday morning.

The Kentucky State Police received a report of a house fire just after midnight. The fire was on Fifth Street in Phelps. First responders are said to have found the body of 65-year-old Teresa Fields within the house.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined, but no foul play has been suspected.
