Officers stated the two passengers in the car were “acting strange” when they approached it, and they could see a marijuana cigarette on the dashboard.

A K-9 unit was dispatched and alerted multiple times in the vicinity of the vehicle.

Officers stated they discovered a loaded 9 mm gun, a considerable amount of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and five sets of digital scales after searching the vehicle. Several hundred baggies and needles, as well as more than $1,800 in cash, were discovered in the automobile.

Both people in the vehicle had outstanding warrants, according to police.

On outstanding warrants and drug offenses, Thomas Brown, 32, and Megan Curtis, 27, were detained and transported to the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
