A man out of Pike County indicated to the court he wishes to plead guilty this past Friday. 39-year-old Robert Preston, of Shelbiana, has allegedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors. His request was approved on Monday and a hearing date has yet to be set.

Preston was arrested in October of 2020 on a charge of producing child porn. That coming following allegations that he had coerced a minor to engage-in and record sexually-explicit content. This allegedly occurred over a period of 11-months in 2016 and 2017.

Preston was additionally charged with possessing child pornography depicting a minor under the age of 12. He was also charged with cyberstalking for allegedly intimidating an unidentified individual over snapchat.
