Governor Beshear is set to visit Eastern Kentucky today to join local leaders to present funding to improve infrastructure and in support of local nonprofit organizations and law enforcement agencies.

Prestonsburg mayor Les Stapleton, Breathitt County Judge/Executive Jeff Noble, Floyd County Judge/Executive Robbie Williams, Johnson County Judge/Executive Mark McKenzie, Knott County Judge/Executive Jeff Dobson, Magoffin County Judge/Executive Matt Wireman, and Martin County Judge/Executive Dr. Don Lafferty will be in attendance as the awards represent Breathitt, Floyd, Johnson, Knott, Magoffin and Martin counties.

The ceremony will be held today at 4 pm at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg.
