On June 5, 2017, Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Corbin residence following a complaint an elderly man was being abused by an un-invited guest. At the scene, deputies located a male and female inside the residence. The deputies located plastic baggies containing white residue, used syringes, and meth pipes. A second female arrived at the residence while deputies were at the scene. Paul Gary Gray, 47, and Mary Smith, 32, both of Barboursville, and Tammy Carter, 44, of Williamsburg were arrested. Social Services and Hospice were called to the residence to check the condition of the elderly man.
