Nascar’s most popular driver is looking to become a husband. Dale Earnhardt Jr. proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Amy Reimann this week in Germany. Reimann took to twitter to post a picture of the two showing off her new engagement ring. Earnhardt Jr., 40, has never been married. He was in Germany tracing the Earnhardt family’s roots when he decided to start extending the family tree himself. Earnhardt Jr. already has one win this season, so he is a virtual lock for the Chase for the Cup later this year. He finished 2nd last weekend at Michigan, but the team was also cited for failing pre-race inspection. They did not receive a penalty, but a warning was issued by Nascar. Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, and Josh Wise also received warnings at Michigan. If any of the four receive warnings next weekend at Sonoma, it will result in last place pit stall selection the following weekend.
