A month long undercover investigation has led to a big drug bust in Harlan County. Yesterday, deputies obtained a search warrant for the home of 59 year old John Paul Thomas and found nearly 200 Oxycodone pills, marijuana, and over 2500 in cash. As part of the arrest, three vehicles were seized as well. An anonymous tip from the community caused narcotics detectives to investigate Thomas. Deputies said more arrests are coming as several other investigations are under way in the county. John Paul Thomas has been charged with first offense trafficking in a controlled substance, as well as first offense trafficking in marijuana. He is being detained in the Harlan County Detention Center.
