The inaugural Celebration of Appalachian Culture “Art and Fork” show took place yesterday in Hindman at the Appalachian Artisan Center. Knott County residents enjoyed food, music, and different art exhibits at the event. The event was created to show the different services and products the region has to offer. Jenn Noble displayed art and Brett Ratliff provided music for the event. The Center’s Executive Director, Josh Mullins, said it is important that people buy items locally to help the economy.
