We have all had high hopes of the severe storms traveling elsewhere or at least giving us a glimpse of blue skies!
Severe thunderstorms will develop near Louisville and along the Ohio River in the early afternoon.
These storms are expected to merge into a broken squall line as they push south into eastern Kentucky by late afternoon.
Widespread damaging wind is possible with large hail, nearly continuous lightning, and an isolated tornado threat.
Flash flooding will also be possible in areas that see multiple rounds of thunderstorms in a short period of time.
