Victims of last week’s flooding are feeling a sense of hope, now that FEMA has arrived in Johnson County.

Officials were on the scene Saturday, surveying the damage that the storms inflicted. They will create a preliminary assessment of the damage, which governor Beshear will then sent to Washington for approval before aid is dispersed.
