An Eastern Kentucky County will soon see some major construction and several new jobs. The Roxana community in Letcher County has been chosen as the site of the new Federal prison. According to Letcher County Judge Executive, Jim Ward, the prison will bring 300 federal jobs, construction jobs and the prison has promised to purchase as many local goods as it can. A date for construction has not been set.
