Officials in Pike County are hopeful that a construction program will be completed sooner than though. Crews have been working to stabilize the hillside along the Pikeville bypass since April. As road blocks are push past the Don Combs Bridge, official’s laud that they have moved into the final phase of work. They believe that this last phase should only take between 2-3 weeks.
