An embattled community is waiting to see what happens when their clerk’s office opens. One day after Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis was found in contempt of court, her office is supposed to open for regular business and begin issuing marriage licenses. Davis is currently being lodged in the Carter County Detention Center. We will bring an update when more information becomes available.
