A California man has been sentenced for fraud in Kentucky. 76 year old Henry Irving of Los Angeles was given a 13 year sentence for his role in an oil investment scheme in Kentucky. Irving and his accomplices conned over 200 investors nationwide out of 3-million dollars for an oil project in Barren, Monroe, and Cumberland Counties. But the scam was uncovered when investors submitted complaints to the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions. The investors lost all, or close to all, of their money.
