According to Teresa James her staff is underpaid and over worked

Teresa James is the commissioner of social services for the commonwealth of Kentucky. James announced Monday that her office will be seeking millions of dollars in additional funding to improve the pay and working conditions of several social workers under her. James intends to go before the General Assembly during its January meeting to request the additional funds be factored into the state’s budget. Since 2009 her office has had 50 million dollars cut from its budget.
