GOP candidate Matt Bevin has been trailing in the polls to Democratic candidate Jack Conway. Bevin sought to turn the tide by focusing on the issue of gay marriage, and the controversial Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis. Conway said that he felt sympathy for Davis’ plight, but we are a nation of laws. Bevin accused Conway of being disconnected from the people.
