It started with a petition earlier this summer but yesterday the citizens of Middlesboro gathered to the polls to vote!  One very simple question was put on the ballet to answer with a simple “yes” or a “no”… Should alcohol be served at restaurants in the town?

There were 1,298 votes, in favor of Middlesboro becoming moist and 1,179 votes against it. Although they are still unofficial and it hasn’t been announced, it looks like Middlesboro will become a moist town.
