Hearings begin today to decide if Eric C. Conn’s former clients will keep their benefits. Nearly 1,800 Eastern Kentuckians have found themselves stuck in the crossfire, as the Social Security Administration works to unravel the alleged acts of fraud by attorney Eric C. Conn. Starting today those individuals will have to participate in a hearing, which will decide if their benefits cease. Several people have retained lawyers, and are currently suing the administration in an effort to stop the hearings. Individuals in need of an attorney are encouraged to contact the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund at 606 886 3876.
