Hiding nearly $1,300 in cash in a box marked “chicken wings” might seem like a great way to safely get money to the bank

Hiding nearly $1,300 in cash in a box marked “chicken wings” might seem like a great way to safely get money to the bank, but only if the restaurant doesn’t accidentally deliver it to a customer!!!

A Domino’s in Berkeley, California, made just such a delivery on Friday, and the customer didn’t even open the box right away.

Mike Vegas, a bartender at AT&T Park in San Francisco, ordered the wings before going into work.  Knowing that he would be getting off at extremely late hours, he put the “chicken wings” in the refrigerator unopened.  During work, Vegas received calls from the Domino’s but didn’t answer from being busy!

When arriving home at 5 am, Vegas with groggy eyes, went into the fridge to warm the chicken wings up to eat!  When opening the box with $1,300 in it, he stated that he had to take a second look and just began laughing!
