A new company is serving up an Appalachian tradition in Letcher County. The Kentucky Mist distillery, which specializes in Moonshine, held its grand opening yesterday. Company owner Colin Fultz said that his product is special, nothing is artificially flavored, and he uses real fruit to flavor everything, including the company’s signature drink which is a mixture of lemonade and strawberries called “Appalachian Sunrise”.
