In May 2014 8 year old Trent Carty’s life was cut short in a bicycle accident. Two years later, on what would be his 10th birthday; his home community of Jenkins has decided to hold a living remembrance. Across the town city workers, fire fighters and residents are going to don red so show their support for his family, and his memory. But the family does not want them to stop there. They are asking that everyone today do a random act of kindness in Trent’s memory as part of the #Redfortrent movement.
