Southern Baptist hold conference on gay and transgender issues

A conservative Christian group is meeting today to discuss what they consider to be a crisis. The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will be holding its first conference on gay and transgender issues in Louisville. Heath Lambert is the executive director of the Association of Certified Bible Counselors, and he says the group will discuss how they are going to respond to a growing cultural acceptance of the LGBTQ community. The Fairness Campaign, a gay-rights advocacy group, has already announced their intentions to protest the conference.
